Each of our tours is designed to let you explore and experience the best of our Maritime provinces. If you are looking to really reconnect with nature and experience the great outdoors, for the summer of 2013 we will be offering 3 different camping tours. These combine an excellent low price with real adventure. Or if you’d rather spend your nights with a solid roof over your head, we will be offering 4 different tours that spend each night in locally run bed & breakfasts, or local historic inns. As well, all of our tours include most meals - hearty and delicious breakfasts, scrumptious and filling lunches, and delectable dinners to finish off the night. All of our tours are designed to offer you the best value in the business. We have five day tours available for as low as $949 - all inclusive! When you combine that kind of value with this kind of quality - you have something not to be missed.
In 2013, we will be offering seven unique tours, all including 5 days of cycling. To support a range of cycling ability, the average length of day ranges from a low of 33 km (on our Prince Edward Island B&B tour) to a high of 88 km (on our Spirit of New Brunswick tour). And of course, on every tour we have a support vehicle that will always give you a ride, no questions asked, if you so desire. So whether you’re looking to push your body while experiencing stunning Maritime scenery, or just looking to relax with a little pedalling every day, or something in between, we have something for you. Our home provinces delight with enchanting fishing villages dotted along sheltered bays, picturesque lighthouses dotting the rugged coastline, a unique Acadian culture, the mighty Bay of Fundy, and swimming in the warmest saltwater beaches north of Virginia. Do Some Good
As well, each of our tours allows participants to 'do some good'. We are closely partnered with the non-profit organization Bicycles for Humanity. This worldwide movement started in 2005 in British Columbia, and now has over 30 chapters in 5 different countries worldwide. Adventure Cycle Experience has helped to found the first chapter on Canada's East Coast - Bicycles for Humanity New Brunswick. Bicycles for Humanity organizes donations of used and unwanted bicycles, and fills a shipping container with these bikes, along with spare parts and tools. These shipping containers, (once filled they are considered "Bicycle Empowerment Centres") are shipped to partner organizations in Africa, where the bikes are used in a number of fantastic ways, empowering disadvantaged people by improving transportation and access to food and water, employment, health care, education, and social opportunities. For every cyclist that raises a minimum of $100 in donations to Bicycles for Humanity New Brunswick, we will discount the tour cost by $100. It’s our way of saying thanks for your help. In addition, a part of all profits from Adventure Cycle Experience goes to Bicycle for Humanity. For the summer of 2013, all donations to Bicycles for Humanity NB will be sent to the local chapter closest to where each tour participant is from. This means that you'll be making a difference for your local chapter by cycling with us this summer. It lets all of us 'do some good'.
