Each of our tours is quite different in the amount of effort needed. Some are meant to include only a couple hours of cycling, with the rest of your time exploring local shops, beaches, and towns, such as the
Prince Edward Island B&B tour. Others, such as the
Spirit of New Brunswick, are meant to give you a feeling of satisfying exhaustion at the end of the day. For tours such as the
Prince Edward Island B&B we recommend going for a couple of rides a week prior to participating, even if just for 10 to 15 km. This will help your body to adjust to sitting on a bicycle seat, and make your tour more comfortable.
For tours such as the
Maritime Highlights we recommend a few rides of 20-25 kms each week, along with a longer weekend ride, starting at 60 km and working your way up to 100 km. If you are interested in us helping to design a more detailed training plan for you prior to a tour, we would be more than happy to help.
